You may be able to find a similar bike at your local bike shop or sports store. I bought it because i wanted something lighter and higher-quality than the entry-level bikes.Assembly was a bit of a pain. The assembly manual is generic for all diamondback bikes. Not very helpful. It didn't even mention how to string the front brake cable. You have to string the front cable down through the stem of the bike and pull it out the top of the fork. Somehow the front cable got frayed and I was missing a piece, so I called Diamondback and they are sending me the missing pieces. I can't say enough about their customer service, they were very helpful. That level of support alone justifies the extra price. Bike comes with a full chain guard and front and rear pegs if you're into that kind of stuff. Seems very solidly built, wouldn't be afraid to take it off a jump. Has a Gyro detangler... Read more |
