A. This is not a Draisienne. Any child over 2 1/2 will be able to propel themselves and be "riding" and balancing.B. The quality is very high. Make sure you install the rubber handlebar grips. They are hard to get on. We got ours in Germany 6 years ago for my son and thanks to LIKEaBIKE he knew how to ride a bike without training wheels at age 2! After riding it for about 2 months he was able to ride his bicycle. He still rode the LIKEaBIKE though for about 3 years because it's fun. After that his sister inherited it. She was 3 once she was able to ride a bike without training wheels and now it will be handed down to friends of ours with 2 little ones that are eager to ride it.This bike has definitely been one of our smartest buys. I would recommend it to anyone with little kids. The quality of is outstanding. Also, and I wish I would have known this a little earlier, there is a LIKEaBIKE website that sells accessories for the bike. THAt's good to know for people who are lucky enough to get a used one OR have a child that throws the bike on its side and want something to protect the wooden handlebars (boy I could've used that). Anyway, I LOVE IT!!! |
